Sherri Unyi
Sherri grew up in Minneapolis, MN and attended the University of Minnesota. After she graduated,
Sherri worked in the “retail world” for many years before steering her career towards massage therapy.
She found a massage training school in Darien, IL where she could hone her skills.
In 1998, Sherri graduated from Redfern Training Systems and became a Certified Massage Therapist.
Sherri and her husband moved to Plainfield in 1999 and she began practicing massage therapy at the
Wesmere Clubhouse in 2000.

As a Certified Massage Therapist, Sherri continues her education in massage therapy each year in order
to keep her massage license up-to-date.
She is certified to perform the following forms of massage therapy:
Swedish Massage
Deep-Tissue Massage
Hot Stone Massage
Reflexology
Reiki Energy Treatments.
Along with doing massage therapy, she keeps herself busy taking care of her 3-year old daughter
and 8-year son and volunteering as a co-coordinator for a MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) group in Joliet.
Healing can come from within and through the right kind of assistance. Sherri looks forward to working with the people of Plainfield. This is an exciting time of growth for Murphy Chiropractic and Wellness, and we are pleased to have Sherri on the team.
